RDIEC Executive Director - Mark Edmonds
Mark Edmonds spent 30 years with Prairie Valley School Division as a teacher, administrator, consultant and coordinator. His extensive knowledge of curriculum and instruction will service him well in his new role as acting Executive Director at the Regina District Industry Education Council. He looks forward to the challenge of connecting industry and education in supporting youth along their career pathways.
Renette Edgar - Program Facilitator
Renette Edgar spent 31 years in education. The first half of her career was spent as an elementary school teacher. In 2001 she took on the role of itinerant career counsellor and finished her last three years as the Career Education / PAA Consultant for Prairie Valley School Division.
Renette has been been working with RDIEC for the past 5 years and continues opening up career pathways for youth.
Gord Heidel - Program Facilitator
Gordon Heidel spent 30 years in education working as a PAA teacher, Work Study coordinator, Learning Leader, Consultant, PAA Coordinator at the Ministry of Education and most recently Executive Director of the Regina District Industry Education Council. He was Vice Chair of Skills Canada Saskatchewan for 15 years and also served on the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship Commission Board of Directors. He is currently co-president of the Saskatchewan Career and Work Education Association and is passionate about connecting students with business and industry.
