Kelly Ireland - Virtual Reality & Transitions Program Facilitator

Kelly served his entire 30 year career in rural Saskatchewan, split almost evenly between the roles of classroom teacher, education technology consultant, and school administrator. His philosophy of education is "We're teaching kids, not curriculum", which emphasizes the importance he puts on developing relationships with people. His position as Virtual Reality facilitator brings together his two favorite things, working with kids AND technology! Kelly has been with the RDIEC since October 2022 and is excited to continue to learn about all the career pathways young people have available to them.
