University of Regina High School Accelerated Program - Information Nights - October 13th & November 17th

Grade 11 and 12 students can take credit courses (one per semester) that will count towards a university degree program. 

  • Ease into university with a couple of classes
  • Free up your schedule in your first year
  • Challenge yourself with course material not offered at your high school
  • Earn university credit

The following courses will be offered starting February 1, 2022 

  1. English 100 –  (English B30 Dual Credit option)
  2. Anthropology 100 - (Special Project Credit option)
  3. Art 220 – (Art 30L Dual Credit option)
  4. **New for 2022 - Indigenous Studies 100 - (Native Studies 30 Dual Credit option)
  5. **New for 2022 - Business 100 - (Special Project Credit option)

  • High School Accelerated (HSXL)  Application Opens – October 17, 2021
  • Early Admission – October 17–29, 2021 (discount for applications will be $50 instead of $100)
  • Fall Open House – October 16, 2021
  • Virtual Parent Night – November 17, 2021 @ 7:00 PM
  • HSXL Application Deadline – December 10, 2021 
  • Virtual Student Orientation – January 11, 2022
  • First day of HSXL classes – February 1, 2022

Please Note: Another set of early admission days will likely be planned for last week of November

Please Note:  In order to apply to the University of Regina, students need two years of transcripts and be a minimum age of 16
