With the pending shortage of pilots that the industry is beginning to experience in Canada, this spotlight will focus on the Regina Flying Club. The students will have an opportunity to spend either the morning or the afternoon at the Regina Flying Club talking to industry personnel. They will explain the type of work they do and describe the characteristics they are looking for in a candidate. The presentation will also speak to career opportunities, salary expectations and working conditions. Students will also have an opportunity to sit into a cockpit flight simulator with full motion and also have a tour of an aircraft.
The school will allow students to attend and the absence will be excused but students are responsible for all material missed in class that day.
