RDIEC Summer Programs

Each summer the Regina District Industry Education Council facilitates two summer programs: 

        1.  Summer Skills Camp for Middle Level students Grade 7 - 9  (July 8 - 12, 2019)

        2.  Summer Apprenticeship Program for Grade 10 and 11 students  (July / August, 2019)

1.   Summer Skills Camps for Grade 7 - 9 students will be held July 8 - 12, 2019.  

This year we are pleased to partner with Skills Canada Saskatchewan, Regina Trades & Skills Centre, Miller High School and Greenall High School  to offer camps focusing on Robotics, Small EnginesCulinary Arts and Welding.  


2.  The Summer Apprenticeship Program (SAP) will focus on Grade 10 and 11 students looking to explore occupations in the trades through summer employment.

The students will have the opportunity to apply for a summer job and be employed for 6-8 weeks during July and August, earn up to three high school Apprenticeship credits and document these hours on a Sask. Apprenticeship 6A form.
